Rye Brook, NYLaura Romundstad, CRNP, MSN, RN, is a Nurse Practitioner by training with over 10 years of experience in the Hematology/Oncology subspecialty. She is based out of Birmingham, Alabama where she began her career as a Registered Nurse in bone marrow transplantation. After completing her Master of Science in Nursing, she became a Nurse Practitioner with expertise in malignant hematology and radiation oncology. She joined LLS in 2019 as a part of the Clinical Trial Support Center which focuses on assisting patients and caregivers in locating clinical trials and eliminating the barriers to clinical trial enrollment through personalized communication and support.
In her free time, Laura enjoys time outdoors with her young family, reading, and spending time with friends.

Rye Brook, NYLynn Steele, LSW, OSW-C, a BSW Graduate of West Chester University and an MSW Graduate of Marywood University, is a licensed oncology certified social worker with over 36 years of experience. The past 17 years have been spent working in radiation and hematology/oncology. She is presently an Information Specialist for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where she has been for just over a year.
Lynn has worked with oncology patients, caregivers, family members in all aspects of the patient experience from newly diagnosed, through end of life care, and bereavement. She has co-facilitated cancer support groups, educational programs, and survivorship workshops.
Lynn considers it to be very important to meet patients and family members where they are, and provide a nonjudgmental atmosphere of open communication enabling patients to become their own best advocates.
Lynn enjoys spending time with her family, friends, pets, hiking, gardening and relaxing in nature.
